CRYOPEN®
CryoPen is a medical device used for cryotherapy, a technique that applies extreme cold to destroy abnormal or diseased tissues. It delivers a high-precision spray of nitrous oxide (Nâ‚‚O) directly to the affected area, freezing and eliminating the targeted tissue. This method is commonly used in dermatology and aesthetic treatments but can also be used for some medical conditions.

Skin lesions: CryoPen is frequently used to treat benign skin growths such as warts, skin tags, moles, age spots and sun spots.
Actinic Keratosis: A pre-cancerous condition caused by sun damage that can develop into skin cancer.

Minimally Invasive:
The procedure doesn't require any cuts or incisions, reducing the risk of infection or scarring.
Precision:
The CryoPen allows for precise targeting of abnormal tissue without affecting the
surrounding healthy skin, making it ideal for treating sensitive areas.
Quick Procedure:
Most treatments are quick, typically taking only a few minutes, and can be performed with minimal preparation.
Painless or Minimal Discomfort:
Since the cold numbs the area being treated, patients usually experience minimal discomfort, with only a mild stinging or tingling sensation.
Fast Recovery Time:
The recovery time is usually fast, and patients can return to normal activities almost
immediately after the procedure.
Effective Results:
CryoPen treatments often deliver effective results in a single session, although some larger or more stubborn lesions may require multiple treatments.
No Anaesthesia Required:
Most CryoPen procedures do not require local or general anaesthesia, which can be a significant advantage for patients sensitive to anaesthetics.

Common Applications:
Wart removal
Mole and skin tag removal
Sun damage treatment
Cosmetic improvements for age spots
CryoPen is considered a safe and effective method for removing skin imperfections with minimal side effects, typically limited to temporary redness or mild swelling.
